The only way to be an immigrant is to have an immigration visa. Otherwise you're just a visitor of some kind, and maybe an illegal entrant to boot.

Speaking of which, time to boot some of these guys back home!

I think this is the open-borders Left trying to send the phrase “illegal alien” down Orwell’s famous Memory Hole. Trouble is, we have the Internet now, as antidote to the Left’s Ministry of Truth. Along the same lines of 70s hippie-revolutionary-thugs like Bill Ayers robbing banks and calling it “liberating funds.” Note: bank robbers are still called bank robbers.

Excellent article. I’ve showed it to several of my friends, and they’ve said it is a perfect characterization of liberalspeak at Berkeley. The delusion in the Senior Editorial Board of the Daily Californian is breathtaking.
