Big surprise that Al Gore's TV station is currently running a hit piece on Mormonism and Romney. They even dug up a women who (while in tears) told of how Romney threatened to have her excommunicated if she didn't give up her illegitimate child to the church for adoption. I am sure, in the interest of fairness they will follow up with a critical examination of Black Liberation Theology and the Church of Jehrimia Wright

Since no one other than the Obama true believers watch Current TV, I’m not too worried about this. They preach to the choir.

Of course, Obama’s weird race-based religion was ignored by nearly all of the media.

To make a slight correction to your statement, Bishop Romney is a powerful Mormon who has held high office.

Mitt Romney could personally excommunicate Mormons, not merely threaten to suggest it to a greater authority.

While there is a council that the Stake president assembles and presides over, the Stake President has the actual final say.

Useless argument, especially since their side is preaching tolerance for the muzzie beheaders who actually murder for their nasty faith.

Brits have a thing against Mormons because in the 1800’s Mormon missionaries went over there and converted thousands who then moved to the USA. It left the UK with mostly plain looking girls with bad teeth.

Oh noes! He’s gonna excommunicate me once he gets elected!

Oh, wait. I’m not Mormon.

As you were.

Brits have a thing against Mormons because in the 1800’s Mormon missionaries went over there and converted thousands who then moved to the USA.

They converted Romney's ancestor, who then moved his family to America to personally serve Joseph Smith and to help build the cult, Romney's line has been devoted to Mormonism ever since, and are Mormon royalty.

During that 170 years of service to Mormonism, no one in Romney's direct line has ever served the United States in uniform, no war, no draft, no patriotism, no anything has broken that perfect record.

Christian America has much stronger negative feelings and history against Mormonism than the Brits, at one time Mormonism had the second largest standing army on the continent, and the first federal laws passed against the cult at the federal level were in 1862.

How did you twist that biographical knowledge about Bishop Romney into something personal?

You think that a president Romney can excommunicate you and you aren’t even Mormon? or do you think that other people here think that?

Out of the blue, you just decide to post something that childish, and then for no reason, claim that I used to be a Mormon?

You made a really weird post.

...and then for no reason, claim that I used to be a Mormon?

The problem with email and posts is you can't read the voice inflections. "As you were" is often used as a colloquial term (from a military origin) for 'stand down', 'at ease', or 'Oh, this doesn't matter to me...' Or something like that... I suspect that was the case in the previous post.

You made a really weird post.

It made me chuckle...

Whatttt I thought that after that fake ‘14 minute video’ that caused the death of 4 Americans mid-September in Libya, the world agreed to NOT say anything negative about other peoples religion????

Yes, thanks for catching that, El Cid.

I was indeed being facetious and “as you were” meant something like “never mind.”

My bad - and my apologies.
