I have never understood that argument, if yo don’t want to go to jail don’t commit the crime.
Really many brain cells to know if you take/sell illegal drugs, eventually you will be caught and go to jail.
How many brains cells to know if you kill or beat the crap out of you will go to jail.
Good grief how many brain cells to know if you steel or rob you will eventually go to jail.

No, no, you see he’s borrowing from “disperate impact” theory. It doesn’t matter whether free will is involved. If drug laws end up affecting black people at a statistically lopsided rate than no matter what happened between the law being passed and the present instant, nor whether it was intended that way, the law is racist. Don’t blame Branson, either, for he is only saying what supposedly reasonable judges unreasonably rule all the time in discrimination/affirmative action cases.
