Michael Jackson's burial was delayed for nearly three months due to wrangling between Janet Jackson and her brother's estate, it was reported today.
Details of the row are revealed in a new biography of the star by Rolling Stone writer Randall Sullivan.
According to Sullivan, Janet put up the $40,000 deposit at Forest Lawn to secure a spot for Michael but refused to let the funeral take place until the money was repaid.

I guess I fail to see what Janet did wrong. No doubt had she not stepped in, she would never see the money owed to her. I’m sure every vulture who thought they had something coming were in line.

Just at half time during that SuperBowl, I walked past and saw her enter the stage. I said, “Ugh, what’s SHE doing there? She’s a stripper.” I’d seen a recent video of hers.
I turned off the TV.

That said, she’ll need that 25 grand (Lbs) someday. Good for her to have reserved a plot, taking care of her sibling, and then not allowing the funeral industry to rip her off.
Again, she, like most of us, have many years of no income ahead.
The family is challenged, shall we say , to be kind.. The product of a show business driven, succeed at any cost, damn the rumors&lawsuits environment.
I feel for the children,, hopefully they will finally have their veils lifted.. and begiven a decent chance to survive what lies ahead in this Reality TV production par non..

Janet is a money grubbing pos like the other Jackson siblings....But she did have a career. She did sock away millions. She at least knows how to make and hold onto money. So she sure isn’t giving $40,000 away. She wanted to be paid back that $40,000 by the MJ estate before she would let the MJ burial take place. Greedy but she (wisely) didn’t trust the MJ estate and wanted the money upfront
Why are we reading these posts? I didn’t read the article but Freepers have the best sense of humor on the planet.

Humor is what brought me here almost 14 years ago.
I just don’t resent people for earning a lot of money. Also, a lot of clebs past and present, squander a lot of it before they realize it’s not an endless supply and they end up broke and stupid. Many people take advantage of them but what’s JJ s money is hers not someone else’s.
