Okay, so now it turns out that Obama is not the smartest man in the world.
However we will concede that he may be the smartest democrat.

In the last couple of days, Ive done a lot of interviews talking about the debate. A conversation with one producer was illustrative of Romneys battle against poor media expectations. He called just before the debate and said, So, I guess Obamas going to win easily tonight. Do you want to come on and talk about it? I replied that Id love to but that Romney was actually the stronger debater and Id be tipping him to win. Really? Yes. Well, that is a surprise. Im not sure people will buy it, but if you want to say that it's up to you. The day after the debate he rang again. I was expecting him to say, Hey, you were right! Can you come on to talk about how Romney won? Instead, he said, Can you come to talk about how debates dont really matter? I sighed deeply.

Betcha anything that Nobama is going to back out of the remainder of debates. His glee club (the media) will tell bold lies about terrorism and security taking his time away from “campaigning” (as he continues to do fund raisers and campaign speeches). Just watch. Nobama’s boss(Soros) won’t let Romney get anymore face time with the US public. The risk is too high and the they can always spin his no-show (at the debates) to be plausibly truthful.

Remember one of those loons gushied that O was the “philosopher-king” the world had been waiting for since ancient Greece? BARF!

As we saw today, Chicago sent a fish wrapped in newspaper to BSL to bring the numbers down 24 hours after Obama had his ass handed to him in the debate. If the Romney campaign doesn’t counter attach these methods, Obama will steal the election. The next thing he is planning to do is wag the dog and bomb Libya.

Anybody here still think we’d be better off somehow or other with Rick Santorum as our candidate???

Those of us in Arseachusetts knew all along. Mitt is the consumate executive. He eats details for breakfast. Keep it up, Mitt.

You should take that bet!
Obama can’t back out now, it would be the first time in Presidential history that had happened, and he would forever be painted as a coward. Goodbye street cred & coolness.
Easy money!!

I think he is so full of himself that he thinks he can get away with ANYTHING! He has, after all, since he was inaugurated.

Romney did good... fine.
Mondale did good in 1984 against Reagan in the first debate and Reagan crushed him in the election.

It's a crying shame that we Americans have to quote a British paper to get a rational, truthful view of American politics.
We beat the Brits in 2 wars, and many of them are more appreciative of American values than are most pundits in America.

Romney’s performance in the debate was very reassuring to Republicans who have only seen him as portrayed by the Democrats/media.
Those Republicans have heaved a sigh of relief and now will be confidently voting for R/R. They know he can win and they know he will be able to lead.
