For the first time in his political career, and possibly his life, Obama was challenged by someone that didn't kiss his feet (or another part of his anatomy) or give him special treatment. He hasn't had to work for anything his entire life -- all he had to do was place the race card.
When confronted by a worthy opponent, he lost it. And next time, he'll blow it again. Either he'll be cowed by the confident Romney, or he will lose his temper.
There were a few times on Thursday night that I thought he was going to blow, but he managed to hold it together. I hope that Bo was back at the White House, because he might have been kicked across the room.
