LAS VEGAS (AP) - Former pro basketball player Greg Anthony is backing Mitt Romney for president in a new Nevada TV commercial.
The University of Nevada, Las Vegas alum says in the ad that he voted for President Barack Obama in 2008 because he thought Obama was a centrist.
Anthony says he lost faith in Obama and is now supporting Romney, who he calls "a no-excuse kind of guy."

A "centrist." That's a code word, MSNBC.

As a Knicks fan, I always sensed from his interviews that Greg Anthony was not cut from the same cloth as his teammates.

If you’ve ever seen him doing analysis on TNT, he’s very impressive.

Color me amazed....a black NBA guy dumping Baraq?
Brave fellow, he’ll be vilified by his media compatriots.
For sure never get a day on The View, LOL.

Unfortunately, TNT might start shopping for a new analyst.

The last sentence should be TBS or TNT, not CBS, I assume?

I heard Rush mention this today. I forget his exact words but it seems they have golfed together and perhaps know each other.

Rush Limbaugh mentioned this today and he also said that he played golf with Greg Anthony. Rush called Greg Anthony a great guy.

I agree with both of you about Anthony. A couple of years ago he was doing his TV analysis about an NBA game, and he made an extended remark that was true on six or seven levels, nearly in one breath. I told my wife then that he has as much intelligence as anyone I've ever encountered.
He did nothing to dissuade me from that belief with this reasoned endorsement.

From one of the most articulate analysts on TV, Charles Barkley.
