I play Eve Online so I’m not sure about your last comment but the rest is true. I try to contain myself when I hear comments like “OMG you play video games! Dork!!” They usually come from the same people who watch TV for 4+ hours a night while browsing Facebook and Pinterest on their phones.

Games are just another way to enjoy life during downtime. Nothing more.

i don't play FPS games or online games. when i want to blow off some steam or escape, i just load up a good old wargame like STEEL PANTHERS and kill things. when i really want to blow off steam i give myself tons of artillery and try to crater the enemy half of the board.
