The Time cover story last week was headlined “The Mormon Identity.” The cover, featuring Mitt Romney in a stained-glass window, [ . . . ] Newsweek had President Obama on the cover, identifying him as “The Democrats’ Reagan”

Of course, most people will see these covers in the dentists' waiting room long after the election is over.

After years of fruitless demonstration against the Vietnam War and a list of more arcane causes the American Left watched two cub reporters at the Washington Post take down the Nixon Administration. Overnight the activists enrolled in journalism schools and flocked into the newsrooms and TV studios. They worked hard and eventually gained control. Today the news media, and mass media in general, is a greater enemy than any force that exists outside our borders.
