Speaking at an event in Fairfax, Virginia, a relaxed and confident President Barack Obama had plenty of witty retorts and quotable sound bites to aim at his challenger Mitt Romney. The problem was that they came a day and a half after he had been demolished by Romney during the first presidential debate in Denver and were scripted and delivered with the aid of a pair of teleprompters flanking the stage.

The most adept liars can look you in the eye and blatantly lie. Schemers caught red-handed look at the floor. I was astonished to see him gazing at the floor because he is such an adept liar.
The first debate was a great example of what happens when the moderator stays out of it and there is actual give and take between the candidates. In a contest of ideas the Left ALWAYS come up short.
Their slogans and cute catch phrases are designed to appeal to emotion and not the intellect. They only sound good when they can’t be challenged by the other side.
This is like the QB who couldn’t complete a pass in the Sunday game going 10 for 10 in the following day’s practice session.
Ya gotta do it when it counts - no mulligans.
Romney had better be careful at the next debate. Barry is going to drag out “the big guns”. A guy dressed in a chicken suit and some puppets. The 47% love it. To heck with jobs and the economy. We must save the chicken suit guy!
I saw that as well BUT it was not the debate audience, it was students at the University of Wisconsin. Smart kids there! /sarc
To the bone-heads in the audience that thought Mr. eye-candy should be allowed to use his teleprompter-—guess what-—life’s not fair....sheesh...
Yup.
BTW I understand Larry David is a liberal, but I wonder what he'd make of all this (see George Costanza).
He can't think on his feet and he's not all that bright - he needs someone to give him a script. Unscripted, what you saw is all he's got.
LOL. Yep, that’s about right.
As Charles Krauthammer stated, this is what the French call “the wit of the staircase.” i.e. the witty things that someone should have said at a party but doesn’t think of until on the way OUT.
In the debate Obama didn't have the cojones to lie to Mitt Romney's face after Mitt called him on a few of his lies and more than once
Now this fugly jug eared POS is back to lying on the campaign trail, it is what he likes, it is what he does best
Of COURSE Barry was more confident...
Stella got his teleprompter back.
How would you use a teleprompter in a debate?
I can just imagine it.
“What is your plan to reduce the deficit?”
“I beg to disagree, my health plan does not cut 700 billion from Medicare it just reduces payments to doctors and hospitals.”
Add your own scenario.
“saw that as well BUT it was not the debate audience, it was students at the University of Wisconsin. Smart kids there! /sarc”
LOL! Thanks for the correction! I was semi-dozing when I watched the clip, and missed where the students had come from.
LOL! good one!
