So you do not pronounce the ‘h’ in historic?

Either way is acceptable though Messina’s way is preferred.

Proper grammer pronounces the ‘h’ in historic but begs the “an”.

The language has been debased to the extent that modern gramaticists are willing to...just give up...on the proper use in this case.

Sadly...

It is a modernitic equivalent of not correcting the confusion of ‘moot’ and mute’.

They just aren’t willing to defend the language.
