Turkey’s Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has made no secret of his religious agenda. “We will raise a religious generation,” he told parliament. With the military under Erdoğan’s boot, one-in-five Turkish generals are now imprisoned for offenses emanating from Erdoğan’s fevered imagination.

No mention of American citizen and a man with a Movement that attracts millions of dollars from rich, in-crowd Americans? "Fethullah Gülen is a Turkish author, educator, and Muslim scholar. He is the founder of the Gülen movement. He currently lives in self-imposed exile in Pennsylvania, USA [with his gang of followers]." (wiki source) I have read that some absolutely believe that Gulen is hugely responsible for the changes in Turkey. Lots of threads on FR about that guy.

These are from four years ago but I guess now they'd be shot dead..

Lest some think that all Turks are ready to give in to Islamism, Sharia law, and burkas.. well no they are not.

Tens of millions of Muslims in Turkey are "Islamophobes" like us?

The image on the banner is of Ataturk the founder of modern secular democratic constitutional Republic of Turkey. The photos are from demonstrations protesting the ruling AK Party's Islamist (political Islam & Sharia law) leanings and reminding the AKP that they promised the voters that they would respect Turkey's heritage of secularism.

I am wont to post this about us from Abe:

You initiated a policy to tolerate the Marxist-Alinsky radicals and let them rant; not only has it not ceased but was constantly augmented by decades of infiltration and indoctrination. You now have two Americas. In my opinion, it will not cease until a crisis shall have been reached and passed. "A house divided against itself cannot stand." I believe this government cannot endure, permanently, half statist and half free; I do not expect the house to fall; but I do expect it will cease to be divided. It will become all one thing, or all the other.

Obama is a biological-ideological issue of the 1960s Marxist-Alinsky campus radical, psycho spoiled brats. He is our Erdoğan and these brats have virtually taken over. Soon IMO our military will have to choose sides.
