The reason big bird was on SNL last night was they must have begged and paid. And big bird himself (Carroll spinney) was completely apolitical and sweet, so that if a child were watching or saw a clip later, big bird was perfectly positive and child friendly.
Didn’t stop MadTV from doing a parody of Sesame Street with Big Bird.
