So he asked for a DC-3?
Nothing like choosing a 1930 vintage transport plane for an escape vehicle!
The military version was the C-47. Paratroop and military carry-all.
Me doubts that was what he asked for.....

I saw that “DC-3” and am aware that it’s a dog, older than the hills. It was in print inbedded in an e-mail obtained from State that was being discussed on FOX last night. The e-mail was printed out and being waved at the camera, but a close up clearly said DC-3.

Also, this Quoted from an ABC report:

the State Department denied a request by the security team at the U.S. Embassy in Libya for continued use of a DC-3 plane earlier this year.

The aircraft had been deployed to Iraq before being moved to Libya. When commercial flights were resumed to Tripoli and Benghazi, the aircraft was moved back “to other State Department business.”

Although quite obsolete (since it is based on a 1930s concept), the turboprop is quite effective because it is extremely efficient, reliable, requires little ground support and can operate also from unpaved runways.”

Disgusting........ totally Disgusting. Think about this. This old DC-3 is a taildragger denied for safety, but Mooch gets her constant separate trips with the pooch, BO on even a private plane, at some times. Hussein’s Priorities, folks, priorities.
