Soldiers injured in truck accident at Holsworthy army base (Australian Army)

UP to 15 soldiers have been injured after a truck rolled over inside the Holsworthy army base in Sydney's west this morning.

The army vehicle, which rolled over shortly before 9am, was open-roofed and 15 people are believed to be injured.

Two helicopters and 12 ambulance officers are on the scene.

The truck is on its side and paramedics are treating soldiers around it.

Their injures are very serious to minor and it is believed one soldier was knocked unconscious.

One of the many risks of military service.An enemy bullet or bomb or a vehicle accident...it's a dangerous business.Perhaps that's why citizens of free nations are so grateful for their service.
