Gov. Brown launches effort to push gas prices down

Gov. Jerry Brown ordered state smog regulators Sunday to allow winter-blend gasoline to be sold in California earlier than usual to help drive prices down. Winter-blend gas typically isn’t sold until after October 31. Few refineries outside the state are currently making summer-blend gas, putting the pressure on already-taxed California manufacturers. In some locations, fuming motorists paid $5 or more per gallon while station owners had to shut down pumps in others.

Sound like they’re talking about coffee. Morning blend, evening blend.

Blend Schmend! Drill for the friggin oil we have here and knock down these crazy prices!.My God, it cost me almost $100 to fill it up up here in So. Cal! One wouldn’t know it unless you’re living it because I guess the msm isn’t covering it, although I did see a lead article on Yahoo this early morning. But it’s not there anymore. What a surprise.

The incomprehensible thing to me is most of these jackasses out here are gonna vote for “please no more debates” Obummer who is purposely driving up the price so we all have to buy his electric Volt that is failing so miserably.

As you may ascertain, I’m having issues today.

Cal is bankrupt. No taxes will be lowered or abolished unless and army of libertarians occupied Sacramento.

In fact prop 30 which will raise taxes is ahead in the polls.

Agreed, we’re screwed, if you live here too. I just bought a motor home that I was searching for many months now. I’m renting the house, when prices rise, I’ll sell it and be free and clear. I’ll be selling my business and I’m gone. Lucky for me I have the money to leave.

If this were Bush v Kerry (who served in Vietnam), the MSM would scream daily how it was Bush's fault.

Be sure and turn the lights off when you leave. I think all of your fellow Kalifornians have already migrated to Texas. Hope they leave their lib mind sets there. We’ll get their heads on straight, eventually, tho :)

Those of us leaving don’t need to get our heads straight. Why do you think we are leaving. Besides, I’m going to be a nomad without the raghead, durag, screw you Snoop. I have family all over these great 49 states. Can’t drive the MOHO to Hawaii or I would. I’ll be looking for the other 7 states Zero was talking about though.

Brown is worried that his proposition on the ballot will not pass because of the higher gasoline prices. This proposition (Proposition 30) is asking voters to approve a 1/4 cent raise in the sales tax (already one of the highest, if not the highest, in the nation) and an additional tax on income for those making over 250K. It’s for the “chidren” (fund education).

I thought this story was going to be about Moonbeam wanting everyone to save their farts in a plastic bag.

Then I realized that plastic bags have been banned in California.

Good old Jerry Brown and his dog Sutter.....

“People seem to be really upset over these gas prices, Sutter. What do you think we should do?”

“Woof!”

“That’s it! We’ll ask The Great Pumpkin to deliver some gas. What’s Nancy Pelosi’s number?”

“Be sure to turn the lights off when you leave.”

Nothing new about that little ditty. That has been
applied to Michigan and the Rust Belt, in general.

“I think all your fellow Kalifornians have already
migrated to Texas.”

Kalifornians? Sooner or later we will be calling you
Taxans. Why? Because as we found the hard way, population
brings liberals. It just does. Wait until you get
out-voted in your comfortable little world. No, some
of us native CALIFORNIANS will wait it out until the
rifraft move away.......to places like Texas.

“Hope they leave their lib mind sets there.”

They didn’t leave them behind when they came to Cali-
fornia so there is no reason to believe they will
leave them when they go.

“We’ll get their heads on straight, eventually, tho:)”

Good luck with that. You’ve got cities, universities,
and a relatively liberal capital city, all the makings
of libtopia when a population explosion is added to the
mix. Be smug at your own peril (:

Time will tell, FRiend.

I have family in KA...long-time, several generations. Unfortunately, they're all Dims. They cannot grasp what the liberals have done to that great state. I've lived (briefly) in KA...beautiful climate and scenery. Such beautiful and fertile land and potential...just a shame to see it all taken over by the lib majority.
