I’m so glad he is doing better! I can understand about the use of a walker. I have had many of patients years ago who used one. One thing you could do for him about the walker....If you have one with only 2 wheels on the front, get two tennis balls, slice them open and put them on the bottom of the other two legs that don’t have wheels. The walker is still sturdy, but much easier to maneuver.

That is almost the exact one our friend has....I’ve brought it home several times in the last year, but he refused to use it.

She emailed me today to pick it up on my way home tonight. Now he has to use it!! We will see how he manages with all the wheels.

It's amazing how hard headed old people are about their mobility. We had the same problem with our dad when we were forced to take his keys away at 92.
