Well, this tells you that Obama will use a bunch of “one liners” in the coming debate -— most specifically with regard to the “47%” of america that are freeloaders.
“You know as well as I do to whom I was referring, Mr. President. Those who under your administration have become increasingly numerous; those who are comfortably dependent on government and don’t intend to ever not be dependent on government. One could surmise that perhaps this was the goal of your policies.”
I’m sure Romney’s ready for it. If he’s going to put tapes on the table.... well - then obama’s racist tape is fair game. Is he only president of minorities and not whites? Fair question.
I actually thought Romney was speaking of 47 percent of obama’s voters would never vote for him; however, it looks like there are 47 percent dependent on govt, so maybe he meant 47 percent of all voters - I don’t know.
Anyway, if obama brings it up, Romney will have an opening to offer a sincere apology to all who didn’t take it lightly. He’s already come out and said he shouldn’t have said it.
It will be too late for to have an affect. Will only embarass himself further. I hope he tries it.
