MILLER: Obama is even losing Hollywood

Enthusiasm for president fades in his most liberal base

President Obama’s star is fading, even in Hollywood. With less than four weeks until the election, polls are moving in Mitt Romney’s direction. So Mr. Obama has had to spend valuable time courting a part of his base that he hasn’t had to worry about before: rich celebrities.

After a disastrous showing in the debate, Mr. Obama saw the need to swing through Tinseltown to buck up his supporters. The first stop Sunday was an unusual closed-door, off-the-record meeting for a dozen donors who had maxed out their contributions. Joined by celebrity President Clinton, Mr. Obama spent two hours soothing jagged nerves at DreamWorks CEO Jeffrey Katzenberg’s house.

Mr. Obama repeated his second-term pitch to 150 people, who paid $25,000 to eat at a chi-chi Wolfgang Puck restaurant with movie star George Clooney, film studio honcho Harvey Weinstein and Oscar host Seth MacFarlane.

~snip~

This late in the race, wasting time courting celebrities in a solid blue state demonstrates the lack of enthusiasm for Mr. Obama’s candidacy. Perhaps he should have asked for a star on Hollywood’s Walk of Fame to cement his place in La-La Land.

No, the sicko degenerates of Hollyweird will never give up on Obama, just like they will never give up on their “hate-America” agenda. They are one and the same.

I love it that he is pilfering the wealth of those lunatics before he flushes it all away. Better they should throw it away on this loser than save it for something still more damaging later. Go get ‘em, BO!

California will be closer than many people might think.

I do believe that you are correct, my FRiend.

4 ago, there were signs for Mister Obama almost everywhere; and now, not so many, typically only among the teachers and union thugs.

I rarely, rarely ever go to Frisco (Friscans just hate that term, he he) but I did this last weekend, and there was surprisingly little overt support for Mister Obama, even in the hyper gay bay area. Not that Frisco (or even the once-Golden State) will vote blue, but that the over-all picture of the state will be closer than many suspect.

What - no secret filming in order to embarrass him later?

Was thinking the same.

Isn’t it weird, I mean how’s it going to play in history that the “husband” of the SOS goes schmoozing w/ the Prez in Hollywood, trolling for votes?

And a month after the disgrace in Benghazi, over which she is in charge.

Maybe he knows hes losing and he wanted to hang out with his fair weather friends one last time before taking the big trip to the little island.

Last week he stopped everything- debate “prep” and all- to go hang out at the Hoover Dam. And by himself.

It’s pathetic. Half the country wants this silly selfish manboy with no real friends back in the presidency.

And I hope that these Hollywood idiots are giving Obama their money while reciting that stupid U-TUBE pledge of allegiance to him with their hands over their stupid, precious liberal hearts. Obama --> please walk away with their money laughing at them! BWahahahaha!

[[Enthusiasm for president fades in his most liberal basePresident Obama’s star is fading, even in Hollywood.]]

Perhaps, but if they see him pull ahead again, they’ll support him again- Hollywood is a solid as shifting sands- if they see him gain a few points in a forum where he generally does better (by avoiding the facts and just playing softball with a handpicked audience) they will support him again-

UI’ve said it severaal times now (and beleive me I hope I’m wrong) Romeny should be WAY ahead of obama- and should have been ahead of him even before their last debate concidering how much damage obama has blatantly done to thsi country- but hte fact that he was nearly tied with romney before hte debate and not that far behind after the debate tells me that this country still doesn’t get it and perhaps beleives he’s ‘takign us i nthe riught direction’ and that he ‘just needs 4 more years in order to turn everythign aroudn again’- The puiblic is clueless- even as obama assaults their civil and constitutional rights, assaults their religions, assaults their values etc etc etc- they still somehow think he’s a ‘nice guy’-

In my opinion, by all rights, romney should be a lot further ahead right now because America shoudl have awakened to the fact that hte current ‘president’ is nothign but an empty shirt who has taken them for a ride whiel they suffered while he was out partyign o ntheir dimes- they shoudl be ready to impeach htis president already for the illegal and unconstitutional thigns he’s repeatedly done- but they aren’t for soem unknown reason- I think it’s because they think he’s still goign to give them a whoel bunch of ‘free obama money’ (liek the woman said when interviewed and asked why she voted for him)

Bernie Madoff went to prison for scamming people- obama became president for doing so- but you’re right- those folsk at hte banquet deserve to lose money-

[[California will be closer than many people might think. I live in Hollyweird and there are NO Obama signs here, except on old junk Toyotas and outside Sect 8 housing. Turnout for this election is going to heavily favor Romney]]

Seriously? I’ll have to see it to beleive it I’m afraid- NY is pretty much a loss for Romney- I’m surprised to hear you say that abotu Cali which is just as, if not more liberal?

The country's broke - the Middle East is on fire, Greece is crashing and burning - and Obama wants to play with children?

He's way out of his league with the job democrats gifted him with. International incidents and/or jobs are topics with which he obviously has no experience. He's like a marionette's puppet. Meanwhile the rest of us are shellshocked after filling our gas tanks and knowing an ever-increasing number of Americans are losing jobs.

Cummins cuts full-year guidance, plans job cuts

Snip: Cummins Inc. CMI -1.41% again lowered its guidance for the year and unveiled plans to cut up to 1,500 employees as the engine maker looks to cut costs in response to the weakening global economy.

Nearly 300 employees laid off at EnergySolutions

Snip: SALT LAKE CITY — EnergySolutions has announced the elimination of about 265 jobs from its worldwide workforce, starting with layoffs at its cleanup facility in Tooele County.

Sea Ray (Brunswick) workers talk about plant closure, layoffs

Snip: Brunswick Corporation, the parent company of Sea Ray, confirmed in a press release Tuesday afternoon that the Knoxville plant will close by the end of the year.  That will leave 225 workers unemployed.

I don’t know how close it will be, but the lack of Obammy propaganda is evident. The thrill is gone, but these libs would never vote for a Republican.
