Just hours after the Obama Administration (obviously attempting damage control) finally decided to come clean with the truth surrounding what happened that fateful night in Benghazi, and hours before Rep. Darrell Issa's Congressional hearings on the attack gavel into motion today;

I really hope that Romney is prepared for this subject in the upcoming debates. This will be his big opportunity to pin Obama down on the responsibility for this debacle.

Just a few points that I'd make, in no particular order:

• We should be making NO APOLOGIES for our freedom of speech. Our country was founded by people that were tired of being told what religion they had to "respect".
• Apologizing just makes us look weak in the eyes of the people that are claiming to be offended. If we were dealing with Western civilizations and allies, that's one thing. But, when dealing with sworn enemies, it's not an option.
• The last US ambassador to be killed while at their post was 33 years ago.
• Why was their request for additional security denied?
• Why didn't you act on the intelligence that was warning that an attack was imminent?
• Although you knew it was a terrorist attack within 24 hours, why did you lie to the American people for over a week about the cause?
• Why did you go to a campaign event the next day, in the midst of this crisis?

I'm sure that some of you can think of more points. These are just the ones that I could write quickly.

Also, Ryan needs to be prepared for this line of questioning as well. I suspect the moderator will avoid it, knowing that it will put Biden on the defensive. But, Joe may be dumb enough to give Ryan the opening.

Praying for Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan for all debates (as well as for their protection all the time). The prayers were answered for the first debate beyond my expectations. Oh, me of little faith. ;)

If Romney helps us to bury the idea of liberalism, both as a foreign and domestic policy, he’ll be one of our greatest Presidents. That said, let’s all do our part and not leave it to chance.
