We all know who is using these young men for politics.

The same guy who considers as mere “collateral damage” innocent Mexicans killed by cartels armed by his regime.

Some kids at school were talking about Obama v Romney, saying that Romney doesn’t want them to be able to live here (they are Hispanic). I mentioned Fast and Furious. One of the girls said that the guns had chips in them. I said they had chips in them when Bush was President, but since Obama’s been in they don’t. She asked why they would take the chips out. I said that was a good question, and that it seems like they wanted Mexicans to be killed so they could say that Americans shouldn’t be able to sell guns any more.

The look on her face was heartbreaking. She very quietly said, “I don’t like him any more.”

I was glad and encouraged by the fact that she understood but sad that she had to find out that there are people like that.

This mom might be too close to everything right now to be able to see as clearly as these middle-school girls had seen. It might hurt too much to deal with the guilt if she let herself think that the support she had given Obama could be responsible for her son’s death. I’ve been there and done that, with the death of our daughter, and don’t wish that part of the grieving process on anybody. She would never have willingly supported somebody who would kill her son. When she realizes that Obama betrayed her badly, she may be able to understand and truly believe that it’s not her fault, and be able to live with the truth.

Parlor-pink hard cases. Upper-middle-class backgrounds, no test in life tougher than final exams and pleasing a nasty boss. And they throw cr*p like this on people who will have to work every day of their lives.

Every time I see a photo of AG Holder, now, I think, for some reason, of novelist Frank Herbert's squalid lieutenant, the Beast Rabban.
