Elizabeth Warren’s implausible Dow Chemical claim

**SNIP**

Dow Chemical was disclosed, however, on a sworn statement Warren filed in a 2002 bankruptcy case where she was being hired as legal counsel for one of the Committees of the bankruptcy estate, and revealed on this blog. The description Warren gave in that 2002 sworn statement was:

**SNIP**

In short, in the early days of the Dow Corning breast implant litigation Elizabeth Warren was providing legal advice to Dow Chemical, which was denying liability and fighting breast implant claims for many years to come. Warren was not a legal adviser to Dow Corning, the entity which years later set up and funded a trust for implant claimants.

Absent specific additional disclosures by Warren, there is no plausible reason to believe that Warren was looking out for the interests of breast implant claimants at the time she was providing legal services to Dow Chemical.

So Warren was defending the maunfacturer of silicon breast implants, and not those harmed by the implants? Epic fail. Bye bye lizzie...

She worked as a lawyer to help Dow defend itself against breast implant injury claims and now spins it as to be helping those injured? I’m sure minitru (Ministry of Truth/US media) will go with the latter.....

Dear Massachusetts Democrats: Paleface Lizzy lies about everything. How can you be sure she’s even a Democrat? No. Seriously. How can you be sure?

I’ve been making fun of her, but, her lying isn’t funny anymore. She’s a boat with no rudder. All she cares about is enriching herself, and dear Democrats, she’ll steal your money just as fast or faster than she’ll steal Republican’s money.

Living in the home town of Dow and Dow Corning and having lived through this travesty, the short answer is no, Warren worked against breast implant victims (alledged victims). Corning is owned in part by Dow. They are across the street from each other. I believe her job was to make sure that nothing trickled across the street to bite Dow Chemical Company. Legally they are seperate entities but that doesn’t stop the libs from doing their best to reach into the deep pockets.
The travesty here is that silicon did NOT cause any of the claims made by victims. This was pure junk science. My dad used silicon in many surguries he performed and til the day he died defended silicon. It is absolutely inert in the human body. The body does not see it as a threat.
It was a rough time locally what with protests, etc. I knew many people who worked at the company at the time.
Ultimately it was determined to set aside around 3 billion dollars (I believe) to settle all current and future cases. About 3 years ago new studies ultimately cleared DOw Corning but the majority of claims had been paid out.

ONe point to keep in mind: The majority of women receiving implants were extremely high risk. Many were used in women who had breast removals due to cancer, thus were health impaired. High risk. Other women were employed in health adverse professions that encouraged larger breasts.

I’m disappointed that Warren shows so little loyalty to her people. She actually defended Dow after the Dow Chemical accident in Bhopal killed hundreds of Indians?
