Giuliani was always more than a bit too liberal on social issues for my tastes, but he is a stand-up guy. I particularly appreciated how he stood up for Palin when the media, at its most inflamatory maliciousness, was trying its best to dump the Tucson murders right onto Palin’s front doorstop. Most voices in the GOP were disgustingly absent (yes, my bitterness lingers on).

Not that you are one but i dislike big government conservative more than liberal ones. Conservatives should stand for small government and personal freedom and liberty. Even if i disagree with it morally, personal liberty or nothing. If Rudy is for a conservative small government, I will handle my own morals, I would support it. Too many conservatives here want the big government to impose their morals. Corruption and crony capitalism is our enemy. Liberty and freedom are the answer.
