Your post is very much appreciated. The piece was done quite well and I like those kinds of things.
Singing makes me feel good, but unfortunately, it does not change reality.
If we lose this election, if our country is not turned around, if we do not find a way to defeat the enemy within, our songs will fall on deaf ears.
Please know that I understand your intent of the post and I share your wishes, but I believe that if we lose this elections, such songs will be nothing but old songs and dead wishes.

No, it doesn’t change reality, sadly. And you are right, we will be reduced to singing it and other old favourites in our heads, as we labor in re-education camps.
This is the most important election of my lifetime. Our very Republic is, indeed, at stake. God help us.
