Yep. Some FREEPERS should be at the front of the confessional. Horrible Horrible behavior from some.

Very horrible LIBERAL behavior by some. Going all MSNBC over a comment that Akin repeatedly apologized for is not a conservative value

The abandoning of Akin only demonstrated support of McCaskill. And, the real reason so many abandoned Akin is because he is a strong pro-life conservative.

Nor is getting all hung-up over a phrase without looking at the context in which it was said.

The man was trying to make a specific and scientific point on a very explosive subject, and IMHO, he never said anything he should have apologized for.

Everyone fell into the media trap of word-baiting. They got that 'legitimate' rape' soundbite stuck in their heads and just kept playing it to themselves - over and over.... and over.

--------

I was really disappointed in FReeper land. As a group, I thought we had better cognitive reasoning abilities than that.

"“It’s interesting that he is, in some polls, leading and some he’s just barely behind within the margin of error and they’ve abandoned him,” said Huckabee on Wednesday. “They’ve got other Senate candidates that they’re pouring vast amounts of resources in that are far behind where Todd Akin is.”

Huckabee pointed to recent revelations that Akin’s opponent, incumbent Claire McCaskill, personally benefitted through her husband’s company from about $1 million in stimulus funds.

Akin voted against cash for clunkers; the Wall Street Bailout; the stimulus; voted to repeal Obamacare 30 times. Why is this even an issue with the GOP? the man has an excellent voting record.

Thanks for posting elephant!
