Biden played to the Democrat base, the hardcore barking liberal moonbat.

So, OF COURSE AssPress and Yahoo News -- being that segment -- ate it up!

Biden is a rude, belligerent, obnoxious, lying idiot laughing at serious issues. It was shameful.

The moderator interrupted Ryan, cut him off grilled him, changed topics when Ryan was on a roll - it was outrageous! Of course the moderator invited BO to her wedding, so it wasn't a surprise.

I think Ryan was thrown for a loop at the beginning and was too much of a gentleman to behave like Biden.

Biden only interrupted Ryan 82 times. Come on, what is your problem? /sarcasm

One need only look at this to see the writing on the wall:

http://elections.huffingtonpost.com/2012/romney-vs-obama-electoral-map#map

I’ve been screen shotting it every day. Look at the historical numbers there and the trends.

This race reminds me of a drag race between a funny car and a stock pinto. They give the stock pinto a 500’ head start but now the pinto is only two feet ahead. And the finish line is still 500 feet away. The pinto will lose.

Young women, first-time voters, also hated Biden, per my kids’ twitter feeds. They identify as Democrats over abortion issues.

which is why Radditz threw in the abortion question at the end of that debate.

My impression was that Biden ran all over Ryan.

In spite of his smarmy smirk and condescending laughter, he ran roughshod all over Ryan and never let Ryan finish a thought.

He kept Ryan off-balance the whole time, much as Romney did with 0bamao.

Difference, of course, was that Romney did so while acting like an adult, while Joe conducted himself like a Junior High schoolyard bully.

The donkey-biased press will spin this as a victory for Biden, in spite of his disgusting display of wanton condescension.

Either she or Ryan should have confronted Biden and made him stop.

Yep. I kept waiting for Ryan to say in a respectful tone of voice:"Please Mr. Vice President, let me finish."

Done right, that slap-down might have been a game-changer. But Ryan never said it.

"Even though Biden dominated the sole vice-presidential face-off, and performed better than Obama did last week, that might not be enough to affect the polls"

It would be nice if the writer explains "dominated." Is it dominated as when a union thug beats up an "uncooperative" union member? Or "dominated" as in behavior that is crude, loud, boisterous, and rude?

Biden most certainly did not dominate the debate with substance. He did come across to me more like the Joker in the infamous Batman movie.

Joe's constant interruption was a well calculated tactic.

Just when Ryan would begin to identify/spell out a Romney/Ryan plan for America's future, Joe would interrupt.

The result...? Ryan's point was muted and not heard. Damn clever, actually....

“...she attacked Biden on Libya...”

I got the distinct impression that this “attack” was planned to get the Libya topic covered right away while Biden still remembered his talking points, since the dems knew the topic was inevitable. I think the Raddatz’ timing was her way of helping Biden out as much as possible. It ended up not working though - as you pointed out Biden lied and it didn’t work anyway.

Just my impression, I probably read too much into it though because I knew she was already on the democrat side.

They will even recapture some of the women voters they lost.

This is an absolute joke.

My wife who tends to be very apolitical and doesn't listen to this stuff much at all listened to the first half of the debate on the radio and watched the second half. She was totally appalled at Joe Biden and his demeanor, rudeness, and tone. She told me he needed a good whipping and put in timeout until he could behave himself. I think that's going to be the general take by most independent voting women.

My take was somewhat similar but also I think it is a scary thing to have someone this unhinged only a heartbeat away from his finger on the nuclear button!!!

Good point, but there are women who wanted to be on the “I voted for the first black president” bandwagon in 2008 and last night the dems lost them. They are at least smart enough not to want Chuckles the Clown a heartbeat away from the presidency.
