Crowd size? Forget polls, keep an eye on the size of crowds both camps are attracting!!

I haven't seen the numbers, but here's a pic. Pretty impressive!!!!

BJ Clinton was in Indianapolis today pimping Dem senate and gov candidates. He filled up a high school gym, LOL.

My 11 year old son and I picked up our tickets this morning for a Paul Ryan town hall on the campus of Youngstown State University in northeast Ohio. Tomorrow morning - they are expecting about 1800 people given the venue size. The county Republican HQ was packed with people stopping in to get their signs and tickets. Very proud my little guy was interested in seeing a candidate on the campaign trail. It was his idea to go!

I believe Romney is up in Virgina, but I doubt by more than a couple points. His own internals should be pretty accurate. There is better money spent than campaigning in a +7 State, unless last weeks debate really shifted the game by a huge amount and it was to late to cancel Virgina events?

Romney is hitting his stride. At least he loves the damn country!

Amen to that. Romney may not be a conservative like myself but he is good man with a love of country and an understanding that jihadists can not be converted. I’ll take it.

How much did the dumb-o-crats have to pay the people to attend?

It’s asserted that people do not vote based on VP preference, but when you consider that the Biden on display last night is one step away from the presidency, it’s pretty sobering.

I can see Ryan calm and clear-eyed in a crisis and dealing effectively with world leaders, especially the Putins of this world and others like him ..... Biden, not so much. Actually, not at all.

I think all the goading and interrupting was to get arise out of Paul. Then they would have played his “disrespectful lecturing” response non-stop.

But guess what libs, Paul saw you coming and didn’t give you what you wanted.

Way to go, Paul.

Ryan kept his cool for 90 minutes ... when you think about the pressure he was under and all the antics/dirty tricks Biden was trying .... I am seriously impressed. I personally don’t have that much self-discipline and would have had to say/do something before those 90 minutes were up ... and chewed my tongue bloody trying to keep it from happening. Biden lost last night.

Romney can’t trust any SINGLE poll, so I look at it as anywhere from tied to plus 7...those being the low-high marks, or, he’s somewhere between those.

I’m also thinking he might be trying not only to solidify that, but also to help pull George Allen into the Senate by helping both himself and Allen.

Is it me, or has the media stopped publishing attendance figures for events?

Not sure. Watching the crowd file out on the local news, it wasn't the typical Dem freak show bunch. Mostly middle age white people, I'd guess union members with some misguided college kids thrown in.

It was hard to pay attention to anything Biden said since his attitude and behavior spoke louder than his words. That's what I took away from the debate last night. Other than a few things Ryan said, it was all about how awful Biden displayed himself as the Vice President of the United States. He's a disgrace and a shameful display of a human being.

Regardless of politics, debates, or anything...Biden is a shameful and horrible person and am embarrassment to our country.

Remember when John F. Kennedy won the 1960 Presidential debate because of his great “presence” on TV? Well, President Obama’s clueless behavior during the first debate and Biden’s embarrassing behavior during the second debate—seen on TV by many millions of people—may have sank the Obama campaign, and I think even the MSM in private clearly knows it.

I think on the heels of the tape of Ryan telling that reporter to not stuff words in his mouth, they thought he had a short fuse and could incite him to lose his cool.

Then the enemedia would have ran with the MO that Ran is a hothead, angry, loose cannon. They could Dick Cheney him.

And who knows, maybe the video just before assclown Biden's debate was a set up from Romney's camp and it worked out for them. The D paybook isn't very vast, it's not too difficult to predict how they react to things.
