Biden meltdown burns Obama campaign
Washington Times ^ | 10/12/12 | Brett Decker

The 2012 presidential election is one of the most momentous crossroads in U.S. history. As Wisconsin Rep. Paul Ryan, the GOP’s vice-presidential nominee, stated in his Thursday debate against Vice President Joe Biden, the outcome on Election Day will determine “what kind of country we are going to give our kids.” Under Obama-administration policies, out-of-control government spending has grown to such an extent that federal debt is now larger than the gross domestic product of the United States, the largest economy in the world. U.S. power and prestige in the world are in such dramatic decline that armed Islamists can overrun an American diplomatic compound, murder a U.S. ambassador and get away with it. On the economic and foreign-policy fronts, our nation is in chaos. The Obama-Biden ticket can’t run on its record of failure so it has moved to a desperate scorched-earth strategy.

Make no mistake about it, Mr. Biden’s obnoxious, smirking, rude behavior on the debate stage was the most disrespectful performance of any presidential or vice-presidential candidate in the history of televised election debates, which goes back to the 1960 contest between then-Vice President Richard M. Nixon and Sen. John F. Kennedy. In the end, the arguments and messages of the two candidates this week didn’t matter so much because Mr. Biden suffered an overwhelming loss on the likability scorecard. As Brit Hume of Fox News characterized the match, “It looked like a cranky old man debating a polite young man. "

As Brit Hume of Fox News characterized the match, “It looked like a cranky old man debating a polite young man. "

Brit Hume is being far too polite. To us, it looked more like the class assh*le debating the class valedictorian.

Biden came across like an insane old man, which serves their base well. Independents on the other hand were turned off by this disgusting disregard for decorum and manners.

When Ryan works out next time, any bets he is hitting the bags with someone as the bags intended object?

Where's the Jeff Dunhams "WALTER" picture.

That was Walter on the stage last night.

One thing it was: Joe "Walter" Biden is now the offical face of the Democrat Party. Ugly, Obnoxious, Rude, interruptive, Occupier snot, they own it officially.

Not exactly your grandpas Democrat Party any longer, shame. You are who you run with, thanks Joe, we owe you one. ROFL.

Did anyone else notice that Joe blamed the deficit on “2 wars on a credit card and a prescription drug benefit that wasn’t paid for” then later in the debate, extolled it as one of the great things he had given seniors, asked seniors if they liked that prescription drug benefit and said vote for us if you want to keep it?

...armed Islamists can overrun an American diplomatic compound, murder a U.S. ambassador and get away with it.

This whole thing now transcends politics and ideology. Am I confused here or is the murder of an American ambassador the moral equivalent of the assassination of the president of the United States?

The fact that we haven't had the wrath of the nation felt among the perpetrators is an ominous sign of American decline. The crucial question is whether the country can survive another Obama term.

Joe Biden came across as a demented Alzheimer’s patient... the one who prowls the nursing home corridors at night and sneaks into old ladies’ beds.

It was a WIN WIN WIN for Romney, Ryan, and the RNC!

I didn’t think anyone could be worse than Bill O’Reilly when it comes to interrupting people, but Biden far-surpassed even Bloviator Bill. Can you imagine being married to Joe Butt-in, and having to deal with that every day? If it were me, I’m afraid I’d be forced to “accidentally” back over him two or three times with a Mack truck.

Two things turned me off immediately when watching the debates: that highly unattractive, unkempt and unprofessional female moderator who was unable to control the proceedings and the condescending sneer on Biden’s face.

Was able to stand the first five minutes before changing channels to watch Steelers/Titans.

Sheesh, this was no debate, this was an attempt by the MSM and the VP to publicly mug a candidate. What a total farce.

I saw Brit’s interview, and he also said more than that. I don’t have the exact quote, but it was not pretty. Brit was aghast at Biden’s actions, and Brit pretty much agreed with Chris Wallace that it was rude and condescending.

The mulitiple personalities of a drunk came out last night. biden was constantly contradicting himself.

“He’s a walkin’ contradiction,
partly truth and partly fiction”.

And the truth is ugly.
