I would like to know why Hillbilly so pointedly and repeatedly felt that she needed to state that the U.S. gov had no connection to the "video." Seems odd to me that it needed to be stated at all. (see video from 0:10 - 0:30)

Strange isn't it? The Cairo embassy started tweeting an apology for the "video" almost before the crowds arrived. Hillbilly borrowed the Cairo embassy Twitter account late that night, at about the height of the fighting at the Benghazi consulate, to reiterate the apology one more time. Her tweet was then deleted. (after it was screencapped of course, haha)
