Exclusive poll: Obama's support among Hispanic voters eroding

ST. PETERSBURG -- There are two million Hispanic voters in Florida. It's a constituency that has the power to shift a tight election, so both political parties have tried to sway the Hispanic vote their way.

An exclusive Tampa Bay Times/Bay News 9 statewide poll shows many Hispanic voters dropping their support for Obama.

Last month, 52 percent of Hispanic voters polled said they would vote for the president. That has now dropped to 44 percent.

Romney picked up some ground among Hispanics, from 43 percent to 46 percent. And the number of undecided Hispanic voters has doubled from 5 to 10 percent.

The Hispanic folks I know are intelligent, hard-working, socially conservative, and church-going. It’s not surprising these folks are abandoning Obama. It always surprised me that the polls claimed otherwise, but then again, I never believed those polls in the first place.

My family has legal Mexican workers here in Louisiana and they tell us the also-Mexican friends of theirs say they will definitely NOT vote for Obama. They do not want illegals flooding into this country that will take their jobs or flood the market causing their pay to be less.

It’s BO’s War on Women and his enabling Planned Parenthood with taxpayer money to abort babies that is affecting the Hispanic vote.

Give your beautiful wife an extra big kiss from the patriots here and tell her “Welcome” both to citizenship and for taking it seriously. You are a lucky man.

That is ok though because the chronicling of his collapse works to our favor by showing his weakness and discouraging his lazy base which does not get off its fat ass but for a sure thing.

We are looking at a landslide here.

Hopefully the miserable performance of The Disaster so discourages many of the RATs that they vote Green or some other Leftist whackjob party thereby offsetting the Ultra-right whackjobs damage to the GOP.

The media and Obama don’t seem to understand that ALL GROUPS who’ve been hurt by the lousy economy are trending away from Obama, relative to 2008.

What about the midget vote?

I think he still has the left-handed, transgendered, lesbian, hispanic, muslim vote locked up. But there's a few weeks left.

I went with a Jewish NY city girl before I was married and we still talked after we broke up, even ater I was married and she was.

Last election we were talking and it got onto politics to wich I told her I’d vote for mccain.
WOW she went into overdrive and sent me links to the huff post etc.
I gave her links from Israeli sites , papers and about obama being anti Jewish etc and how he was a radical.

She then went even more mad of which surprised me as she was not into politics until she maried her radical liberal Jewish guy.

I told her that the huff post was biased to which she told me I was a NAZI, evil, stupid etc.

Now I had dated this girl for nearly two years got into fist fights defending her against radical lefty loons who hated Israel up north .

She told me I was stil a NAZI and obama would be a better friend to Israel.

Since that day have never bothered with her even though she sends me cards and notes here and there.

You’re right the left are not tolerant, they are not civil and liberalism is seriously a mental disease.

i’d love to send her a note saying how is that hope and change going and how is obama better for Israel now but then again I also don’t want to talk to her after that outburst of hers.

if true then it means Holder, the DOJ and obama and his regime will have to increase their voter fraud and vote more often to off set this.

Here, the lead has been taken... but only Obama’s decline seems to matter to the headline writer.

It's the Tampa Bay Times (formerly the St. Petersburg Times), a newspaper so unapologetically liberal that it even mentions this about its founder on its Times History page:

Over the four decades Nelson Poynter (shown below) ran the Times, Poynter transformed his father’s small, financially wobbly paper into a large, robust enterprise. He became one of American journalism’s most conspicuous figures – a liberal in a conservative community, an innovator in a sometimes stand-pat industry, a loner in a field increasingly dominated by chains.

FL is *very much* an anomaly because of the Cubans. Anyone who extrapolates from this poll to thinking that Romney will do well in Mexican-Hispanic states need to curb their enthusiasm down a couple hundred notches.

But he wasn’t going to win California anyway and if the Cubsna put Mitt over the top in Florida, that’s good enough.

The Hispanic ‘community’ in Florida is part Mexican and Puerto Rican, who vote DOP, and part Cuban, who vote GOP. Were the Cubans inclining towards Obama and got turned off and now wish to vote their customary way, or have the Mexicans gotten turned off and now want to vote Republican?

At any rate, another significant number of Hispanics are not officially in Florida, but are paid to vote Democratic, only they do so under the names like Shloime Berkowitz, Ruth Goldstein, and Buggs Bunny, who are variously deceased, disabled, or fictional. Obama’s support still remains unanimous in this demographic.

What I think is funny, is that the “very important immigration rights vote” Obama has been pandering to, is now dumping his ass.

Heh, heh, heh...

So Hispanic’s number one issue isn’t legalizing illegal immigrants. Who knew? LMAO I’ve only been saying this for twenty years.

It would be nice if folks would pay attention and gain some knowledge here. I don’t count on it.
