Exclusive poll: Obama's support among Hispanic voters eroding

ST. PETERSBURG -- There are two million Hispanic voters in Florida. It's a constituency that has the power to shift a tight election, so both political parties have tried to sway the Hispanic vote their way.

An exclusive Tampa Bay Times/Bay News 9 statewide poll shows many Hispanic voters dropping their support for Obama.

Last month, 52 percent of Hispanic voters polled said they would vote for the president. That has now dropped to 44 percent.

Romney picked up some ground among Hispanics, from 43 percent to 46 percent. And the number of undecided Hispanic voters has doubled from 5 to 10 percent.

Romney can and WILL put Obama’s candidacy and Presidency away on Tuesday night. The only ‘trick’ left in Obama’s dirty bag is to pull a ‘Biden’ on Tuesday night, and that is not his candidate ‘persona’, it may be his ‘fundraiser’ persona, but it’s not (and hasn’t been) his 2008 persona. He is going DOWN! Period!

She then went even more mad of which surprised me as she was not into politics until she maried her radical liberal Jewish guy.

I kind of doubt that most women who weren't already into politics would not end up adopting the politics of their husbands. When you criticize her politics, she's not hearing you criticize her politics, she's hearing you criticize her husband.

They recruit heavily in Mexico and Brasil. One of my friends from Sao Paulo was a recently converted Mormon. She said there's a huge effort by missionaries there.

It’s a fantasy to think that most Hispanics are going to vote Republican. Cuban-Americans are the only group that trend Republican, and Cuban-Americans are only statistically significant in Florida.
Most Hispanics want big government, because they are the benificiaries of it. They are not as conservative as they are made out to be, and they are more apt to support gun control and even gay marriage. Mexican-Americans especially are not oriented toward voting based on social issues. Furthermore, Hispanic women have a higher abortion rate then white women.
Sure, you’ll have a few Hispanics vote Republicans, but they form a minority of a minority.
For reliable analysis of the Hispanic question, don’t listen to the wishful thinkers in the GOP, but check out the vdare.com website. It has reliable, documented information.

It would be more interesting to see the breakdown by ethnicity since Florida goes it's own way.

Cuban vote usually goes R. I don't think Eric Holder (Reno clone) helps Obama any either.
Puerto Rican vote leans dem, but by what seems to be a lower margin in Florida than in the Northeast.
Then there's the Columbians, Venezulans, Mexicans, Dominicans, and others as well.

we still talked after we broke up, even after I was married and she was.
Marriage =1 man + 1 woman

Yeah, it's even better if you can leave the past ex-girlfriends out of your married life. I know it is not my place to tell you this, but the internet made me do it.

The TexMexicanos are actually getting it.

Obama and Holder perpetrated an Act of War on Mexico which resulted in the deaths of thousands of Mexican citizens.

know they are getting played, and Obama will pay for it.

Obama has a penchant for destabilizing border areas. He has his work in Kenya in 2006/2007 with Odinga , Pakistan and in Libya to prove it. Its a trend. Obama is a drone.

Cuban-Americans in FL have been in the R camp for decades now. The shift can’t be attributed to that group.

That’s because the Cubans don’t think like the mexican hispanics of Cali where I live. Here if it’s libre’, they vote Dumocrat but in FL, their families have voted Pubbie’ for generations. My cousin works in Dade Co (unfortunately) and has had Cuban GF’s and their families are GOP.

“With Biden’s performance on Thursday they lost the women’s vote as well.”

They are counting on the Big Bird vote. Unfortunately, 2 year olds aren’t allowed to vote even under the DREAM act.

Here in the PNW most of the hispanics (legal or not) are voting with the Democrats. Can’t risk losing all their benifits don’t ya know. Freedom be damned! (Sarcasm intentional)
