Poll at end of Salim Mansur column trashing 0's foreign policy. Romney leading, probably because of 0's Keystone Kop routine about the pipeline.

“Is this a trick question?”

My first thought, exactly. I think Harper and Romney will get along famously. Hopefully might even remind us of the days of Reagan and Mulroney. Stephen Harper has very little time or use for Obummer.

I was going to say if you want your oil going to China instead of America, root for Obama. If you want the oil going to America, root for Romney.

Besides, if Obama wins a second term, where are Canadians going to go for their health care?

When Obama is losing an on-line poll in Canada, then you know he’s in trouble. LOL - Actually, if there is any media in Canada that you can refer to as being conservative in slant - the Toronto Star would be it, but I still find the results interesting.

“...the relationship between the two countries is more important than many Americans realize. We take Canada for granted.....The US doesn’t have many genuine friends in the world but of the few we have Canada,Britain and Australia are probably the most valuable...even though we don’t agree on every single issue.”

Good points!

The Toronto Scar is the most left-wing paper in Canada (it was founded by striking newspaper workers). The best conservative paper bar none is the National Post, while the Sun Media papers tend to be centre-right.
