Something is not right here. The Syrian army has its hands full just fighting the rebels. Why would they attack Turkish territory?

Answer: they wouldn’t. My guess is that someone else did the shelling, trying to get Turkey involved. Perhaps it was the rebels themselves.

Yep, "false flag" operation. Syria has no interest in getting Turkey involved.

Turkey would be wise to stay out. Assad has chem (and probably bio) weapons. You DON'T want him to feel his back is against the wall, and he's in danger of winding up like Daffy.

Returned from Istanbul on Sat. Turkey is using this as a means to close the borders. There are too many Syrians crossing and they don’t want them. Turkey has said if attacked they will respond. Can’t blame them.
