Biden Acknowledges Obama 'Leading from Behind' Daniel Halper October 13, 2012 6:31 PM
At a campaign fundraiser in Connecticut today, Vice President Joe Biden talked up the Obama administration's foreign policy of "leading from behind."
Biden " suggested that Ryan and Romney's comments that the U.S. was 'leading from behind' present considerable risks for the nation's interests," according to the pool reporter's write-up of Biden's comments.
Biden then said in reference to his debate with Paul Ryan last week, according to the pool report, "When you ask as I did on Thursday night...'how do you disagree with us in terms of leading from behind, what would you do differently?'''
"The Republicans provided 'not a single solitary specific,' Biden said. 'I know a lot about foreign policy and I know one thing: loose talk is dangerous. The last thing we need is another land war tying us down,'" according to the pool report.
Members of the Obama administration have long tried to distance themselves from when one anonymous adviser told the New Yorker magazine that Obama's foreign policy was one that favored "leading from behind."
As Obama foreign policy spokesman Tommy Vietor said last year, "No one in this White House ever said leading from behind. It wasn't even sourced to an administration official, but rather the more nebulous 'adviser.' There are hundreds of people who could credibly be called an 'adviser' to the president, and there are hundreds more who go to D.C. cocktail parties and claim to be one. ... I hope we can stop talking about a thinly sourced background quote and focus on the president's actual record of decisive leadership on foreign policy."
But now, with less than a month until Election Day, Biden is doubling down on Obama's "leading from behind" foreign policy.
- Joe Biden, VP Debate
Can’t. He’s just too crooked!
“Hah hah hah hah hah hah”, “yes, he is leading from behind”, hah hah hah hah hah hah...”
Biden has fallen and he can’t get up.
Joe needs to get his meds straight.
The word they are looking for is “Herding” (leading from behind). They see the American people as sheep.
After Thursday evening, I think he’s highly over-medicated. ;^)
Like the old movie, “Advance to the Rear?” Got it. It will all play out like an idiotic movie script.
And then there is the “leading from behind” of Lao tzu’s Tao Te Ching.
Just like his doper Prez, right? They both need some serious rehab.
He’s advancing backwards!
Well, they’re going to have lots of free time rather soon.
We can only hope. His free dope days are over. Then maybe he can be impeached, deported and we can hang/burn him in effigy.
He’s going to leave in disgrace. I don’t think he’ll need our help hitting the bottom. ;^)

When historians sit down decades from now to address the events of the early 21st century, they will have no trouble explaining why Americans elected Barack Obama president. They elected him out of a firm conviction that the United States was not involved in enough wars.
Problem solved. Today, American forces are fighting in four countries.
No. 4 is Yemen, where we learn the administration is carrying out an intense covert campaign against anti-government militants, using fighter aircraft and drone missiles. It is being handled by the Pentagon in conjunction with the CIA, and according to The New York Times, “teams of American military and intelligence operatives have a command post in Sana, the Yemeni capital.”
Obama Leaks Risk National Security For Political Gain
Security: From leaks about Osama bin Laden to those detailing cyberattacks on Iran, a disturbing pattern of publicly disclosing classified material to give Barack Obama a political boost is emerging. Under this president, our enemies don’t need spies.
The fact that the Allies in World War II had the ability to intercept and decode German and Japanese military transmissions, leading to critical military victories at Midway and elsewhere, remained a secret until long after World War II was over, and it didn’t matter who knew it. “Loose lips sink ships” was then more than a clever wartime slogan.
The pattern of national security leaks under this administration and its political exploitation of what should be secret has even liberal media flagship CNN wondering if “President Barack Obama’s administration can keep a secret or in some cases even wants to.”
With a collapsing economy, rampant joblessness and mushrooming debt, foreign policy seemingly is the only place Obama can boast of any accomplishments.
Yes, Osama bin Laden was killed on his watch. Yet even there, critics say with much merit that the world’s most wanted man was killed while Obama was president, not because he was president.

He’s already hit bottom. He just needs to move over to make room for the rest of his minions, including Harry Reid. When they are both gone, the rest of the Dems will shrivel in the sun.
wait, so a statement by a REP saying Zero is leading from behind is now a national security issue that will lead to another ground war? what in the hell are they smokin in the White House?
