bizarre!!!!!! Skateboarders??
All the cops need is a well placed trip wire.
any live coverage of this mob?
The link is a live feed, looks like the crowd dispersed already.
thanks
Rog Ebert will get around to reviewing THIS film before he touches 2016: Obama’s America.
LAPD writes a lot tickets for skateboarding, they do very little to suppress gangs, skateboarders hate the government, so I am on their side

Two different issues. And no favs as far as I’m concerned.
Are they protesting the price of gas??
.....Or second American revolution or civil war.

Laugh of the Day! Thank you. Very well played.
These are almost certainly LA gang bangers here.
"It all started about 8:40 p.m. at Hollywood Boulevard and Vine Street when a officers on patrol noticed the crowd of as many as 500 skaters and called for backup, Villanueva said.
Those extra cops were met with rocks and bottles, he said. Police shut down Hollywood and Vine and formed skirmish lines to control the crowds.
Fox 11 News reported that only about 50 stragglers remained as officers moved in to disperse trouble-makers.
The film was screening at the Vine Theater.

These types of skateboarders are being feral punks. I almost ran over a couple of them when backing out of a parking lot the other day and almost hit another car while trying to avoid them. They have no concern for anyone but themselves and this was in the relatively safe/peaceful community of Mission Viejo, CA.
I support those who use skateboard parks and competitions, but these wannabe bad ass's are a nuisance and a danger to themselves and others. These type of skateboarders are more like anarchists who hate everything and want to intentionally cause havoc. Screw these inconsiderate and undisciplined punks. BTW, they don't even know why they hate government or their parents or society in general - they think they are being cool in their pathetic childish rebellious ways.
Contrary to your belief, the LEO's of SoCal have made big inroads on cracking down on true gangs. So you're wrong there. Drive-bys and gang shootouts are no where near they were years ago in Los Angeles. Detroit, Chicago, Philly notwithstanding.
These feral youth should be taken into an alley and have their asses kicked. While laying on the ground with a bleeding lip or blackened eye, tell them to stop bothering innocent folks or next time jaws and ankle bones will be broken and they will never ride again.
These gangsta wannabes need an early life lesson, since their parents won't provide it, they need to be slapped back to reality. That's what I and others of my age did to such back in the day. They learned real fast before they could graduate to gangster.
You go ahead and support them, until they start taking over your local McD's or other places you take your family to and skating in between your tables; grabbin your food; laughing at you "citizens"; and disrupting your right to live in peace. Frig them. They are just plain ass punks looking to eventually graduate to 1% biker types or street gangs. They have no morals or values that keep them from bothering peaceful people. They need their f*cking asses stomped to the curb. If young enough - they learn.
I know the above from growing up in LA and riding Harleys all my life. I see who just want to enjoy a sport and see those who just want to cause trouble.
