Interesting story....

.....I’m coming out of church recently. The way our church is, the massive doors for exit and egress are in the back down the aisle, like most churches.

But there’s a little side door that one can exit from but the infamous Father Jim don’t much like them going there.

A big problem with this exit is the weekly bulletins are just stuffed into some sort of envelope holder above the holy water. About three aisles of people converge on this door for exit as it’s closer than walking the long aisle to the back door, it’s close to the parking lot assuming you parked your car round that way, and you don’t have to shake the priest’s hand and say perfunctories. Well I dunno, that might bother some people.

But in the confusion of the exit out smallish door, often we are reaching over each other, blocking a small aisle sort of, to get the bulletin. Well I think they ought to have an usher hand out those bulletins at the side door but the infamous Father Jim disagrees with me. I guess he wants to greet everyone but I speculate.

So I reach out to real quick grab a weekly bulletin before blocking the exit of another parishioner then coming down the smallish aisle to the bottleneck exit. I was hoping to get the bulletin out before this lady got up to the site of the bulletin cache but as these things go I ended up, in my clumsy haste, pulling out three bulletins. So I handed the lady then up to the bulletin cache as a sort of nice gesture....as if “here is your bulletin, no need to grab one,” because, well I inadvertently pulled out three and sought to hand them to someone else to aid the bottleneck.

the lady I handed one of my extra bulletins to, in church, I’m not making this, grabbed it from me as nasty as one can be, nasty, nasty...then she took it and stuffed it BACK into the holder, a real snit she put on and lots of people saw that horrid behavior.

Well I suppose she was mad at me for blocking her aisle, even if only for five seconds, and, of course, I couldn’t keep my mouth shut. I said to my fellow choir mate about such rude behavior right after mass for God’s sake, and how it reflects badly on some people.

this lady, she was a jerk, a real jerk. She never responded to my bait but she wanted to. Her husband grabbed her as she one time spun around to shout back at me, I suppose so I continued to verbally bait her, jerk woman.

I followed them as I’d never seen them before and soon they were exiting right in front of me. On the back of their car was the bumper sticker.....a picture of the Obamer logo with the words....”OBAMA KILLED OSAMA”. Which is, btw, the only Obamer bumper sticker I’ve seen....ANYWHERE!

Now either this sort of behavior is what we expect from Obama fans, or, as I suspect, we have had some people showing up for mass doing very ostentatious exits just as soon as the pastor begins discussing the issue with freedom of religions....not many of them but I believe this horrible woman was one of them. They don’t even regularly attend out church. Hey, I’ve been around that church, deeply involved, for ten years. While I might not know everybody, I do recall seeing this woman do the mighty sniffy walkout as Father Jim pounded the pulpit about this freedom of religion thing. She’s NOT a parishioner.

Obama supporters never let us down with their disappointing behavior, do they?
