Excellent article. If only more Americans were aware of Reid's dictatorial style, they'd understand who is perhaps, the biggest component of Washington gridlock.

Nevada clean coal plants: Two 1,500-megawatt clean coal plants were slated for construction in Ely, a small city in the remote east-central part of Nevada. The Ely center would have created 1,600 jobs during construction, with 200 permanent jobs when finished, a veritable boom for the area.

Then comes Harry Reid, who killed the project, pushing state power company NV Energy to instead focus on expensive renewables.

It gets diverted into the ditch from the Virgin River up in Orderville beginning in April and we close the head gates in mid October although it is still running today. Virgin river runs continuously as you know. They are both getting tired from all that running.
