....The first shooting of the evening happened at about 5:46 p.m. on the 6100 block of South Ashland Avenue, said Chicago Police News Affairs Officer Daniel O'Brien. The victim was a man in his 30s who sustained a gunshot wound to his abdomen, said O'Brien. The man was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in critical condition, police said.

The best that Mayor Rahm Emanuel can come up with is to ask the gangbangers to stop shooting kids and take their war to the alleys and side streets to avoid collateral damage. Meanwhile Cook County seeks a tax on guns and ammo to curtail the violence.

2. Chi Police Supt Joe McStupid: New State Laws that a) all Lost Firearms must be reported, and b) all guns transfers be 'documented'.
   
3. Gov Quinn: An Assault Weapon Ban in IL.
   
4. The Mayor of Chi, The 'Godfather' Rahm: Shoot each other in the alleys. (He actually said that)

Natch they're all idiot Dems. And not one of those laws will stop one Gang-Banger shooting. They'll only impose more BS on all law abiding IL gun owners and drive every gun shop in Cook County, OUT of there. The fact is Chicago doesn't have gun control problem, they have a Criminal Control problem.
