Yes,that *is* Ira Einhorn and Spector *was* his lawyer.To make a *very* long story short:
Einhorn:a filthy dirty hippie "activist" in the 60's,was the MC at the first "Earth Day".Killed his girlfriend because she had the audacity to leave him.He stuffed her body into a closet in his apartment.Fled to Europe before being tried and spent something like 25 years on the run.When captured in Europe,he claimed that he was being targeted by the CIA because he had damaging info on them.And there's more nauseating stuff.
Spector: Was able to get Einhorn out on bail before his trial,convincing the judge that his client was upright,respectable and wouldn't skip bail.Of course that was *after* the girl's mummified body was found in Einhorn's apartment.
Sounds like a Law & Order episode.
