Jonathan Assink is a lifelong Democrat and unabashed supporter of Barack Obama. But asked about the president's plans for Social Security and Medicare, the 29-year-old shakes his head. "There's nothing there. It's just, 'We'll protect it.' Well, great, thanks. How?" said Assink, who lives in Edmonds and works as a barista in Seattle. "At least the other side talks about it."

No one is talking about the hugemongous industry built around entitlements meant to assist those in need. Quick someone do the math about how much money actually goes directly to those who need assistance vs those who get paid along the line in this massive bureaucracy. Is it just a jobs program?

Just give boomers back the social security and medicare retirement funds they and their employers paid, with intererst, and call it even. Liberals want to rob and kill off the old.
Hell I don’t trust young republicans at this point, let alone young democrats. Barely a dime’s difference between them and yes they just want the old people to die and get out of the way.
