Mexican Diplomat Says Obama Invited The Sinaloa Drug Cartel To Smuggle ‘Tons’ Of Drugs Into Chicago

Posted on 10/14/2012 8:26:07 PM PDT by tsowellfan

Excerpted from Business Insider: Leaked emails from the private U.S. security firm Stratfor cite a Mexican diplomat who says the U.S. government works with Mexican cartels to traffic drugs into the United States and has sided with the Sinaloa cartel in an attempt to limit the violence in Mexico.

Many people have doubted the quality of Stratfor’s intelligence, but the information from MX1—a Mexican foreign service officer who doubled as a confidential source for Stratfor—seems to corroborate recent claims about U.S. involvement in the drug war in Mexico...

It wouldn’t surprise me. If you keep people dependent upon drugs, you have an eternal supply of supporters.

You would also likely have a ready supply of financial support for political aspirations.

Well, I know if they said this about Bush 42, and he were still Prez, Minitru would be all over this, true or not. Truth doesn’t matter to them, it’s the smear that counts.

Are we going to find out the FIRST purpose behind Fast and Furious was to arm ‘favored’ Mexican drug cartels - and the second reason was to discredit Americans who believed in second amendment rights?

Obama's in luck - members of the MSM will NOT bring this issue up in a DEBATE other than to show it's too 'complicated' to understand... ( the press IS predictable)

Gun running was only a small part of the Fast and Furious scheme. I think they got it right .... a total Chicago Mob operation.

Years ago I had heard stories about Bush family involvement in drug money, I think in lefty circles. Wise to approach any of these kinds of third party accusations with caution.

The Choom Gang needed their fix, dude. Guess Bill and Hill couldn’t fit enough coke in the nose cone of a plane. And we’re in Iraq and Afghanistan, why? Oh, right. Ancient artifacts, money and poppies. Yeah, I believe we’re there for humanitarian reasons./ sarc

maybe the first purpose was to provide justification for “war on drugs” expenditures - ‘see there are massive amounts of drugs coming into the country and we need all these invasion of privacy laws to protect you from these drugs and we need all these fbi agents to track the drugs and we need all these swat teams to get the druggies arrested and we need all these judges to put the druggies in prison and we need all these prisons to put the druggies in and we need all this welfare to support the children and wives of the druggies in our druggie prisons and the welfare wives will vote for Democrats as long as they remain on welfare because of course it’s Republicans who are fighting the drug war and putting you all in jail, not Dems you see.’

Russian drug chief blames U.S., NATO for Afghan drug production

“.....Since the beginning of the anti-terrorism operations in Afghanistan in 2001, the number of narcotics imported into Russia has increased astronomically. Ivanov told Interfax that Afghan heroin amounts to 90 per cent of all drugs sold in Russia, which equates to 5 billion shots per year.....”
“.....Ivanov further added that he blames the Obama administration for ending the military campaign to destroy poppy crops in Afghanistan, which, reports the Zimbabwe Star, furthers production.....”

Some of the other Freepers might have to help me out, but wasn't there a Clinton scandal about cocaine planes?

-----

IMHO, this is one of the primary reasons the War on Drugs is such a farce.

If the government truly didn't want drugs coming into the country, there wouldn't be any....or at least a lot less.

The fact is, they only want to control the drugs coming into the country because it provides a massive under the table income for them while also providing a massive amount of income for the governments via the judicial/law enforcement/incarceration complex.

Think about it. Some of the political elite have provable records as to where their enormous wealth came from. Others.....not so much.

LOL! Control and unlimited money. What more could a socialist want?

The Mexican government is working with the US government on this. That is why the Mexican government did not raise a ruckus about Fast and Furious like they normally would. The guns were going to their chosen cartel.

Does it surprise anyone that the Feds who created fast and furious (and who named Obama’s political and social enemies domestic terrorists) would also aid in dealing drugs here? Anyone who thinks the Mexican government would stay out of the drug business does not understand the depth and tradition of corrpution in the Mexican government.

America has a long history of joining the chosen bad guy to knock the other bad guy.

If you keep people dependent upon drugs

Gilding the lily - people have always been willing to keep themselves dependent upon drugs without any help, as witness the plethora of people addicted to the legal mind-altering drug alcohol.

Only by turning our land of the free into a police state could they even hope to significantly reduce drugs - and even China and Iran have drug problems.

[The War on Drugs is] providing a massive amount of income for the governments via the judicial/law enforcement/incarceration complex.

That I agree with 100% - the War on Drugs is just another utopian big-government program that has failed for everyone but those paid to carry it out.

Are you kidding? they can't keep drugs out of prisons where people are already locked up for drugs.

No, I was speaking strictly about drugs crossing the border, not ones among the general population.

IMHO, government may have the authority to participate in points of entry, but nowhere does it have the authority to tell the people what they can consume.

I cannot express how totally happy it makes me to know someone else sees that big ole boondoggle for what it is. :-)
