Hillary implemented Obamas' policy of a small American security foot print in Libya so as not to offend Libyans. Obama owns Libya, Libya was Obamas' war. No way Obama can claim ignorance and push all the blame onto the State Department. Obama got us into Libya, not Hillary. The small security foot print was Obamas policy, not Hillarys'. Hillary is incompetent for implementing Obamas' policy but it was OBAMAs' policy. He owns it.
Personally, I believe Hillary IS Obama’s foreign policy. Adding weight to my peculiar opinion, I stumbled across (I think a TIME column) tracking the Bill and Barack political relationship, the title was “Bill and Hillary Forever”, and it told of the grand bargain cut between the three of them, since Hillary had to be wooed out of her funk and reluctance (paraphrasing here). It went on to say the State Department was her dominion, and I believe it.
If it IS her dominion, and certainly the State Department’s own mission statement prioritizes security, defense and protection, then the direct responsibility lay in the lap of one Hillary Clinton.
Hillary is, right now, low hanging fruit. I say “pick it”. Get her and you get the president. She IS his foreign policy.
Yes, Obama is responsible as far as the chain of command goes, but he imho, did not pull the trigger. She did, and that should matter. She is the one stonewalling, so she put up an interminable investigation to ward off Issa. Her own people testified and hanged her. There names were Nordstrom and Woods.
