One thing that gets their panties in multiple wads is anything that smells or feels like censorship.
That’s why they’ve had it in for the Catholic Church and the Christian Right since 1930, when the Breen Commission imposed a code of standards on what they could do onscreen. It’s stuck in their craw like a fistful of nails and they’ve never gotten over it.
