CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Speaking in Charlotte on Sunday, Louis Farrakhan had this advice for President Barack Obama:
Fight.
“Mr. President, you’ve got to realize you’re fighting for your presidential life,” the leader of the Nation of Islam told an estimated gathering of 6,000 at Bojangles’ Coliseum. “You’re fighting for your vision of the Democratic Party and the country.”
In marking the 17th anniversary of his 1995 Million Man March on Washington, D.C., Farrakhan was scheduled to talk about the economy and a Muslim “blueprint for ending need and want.”
But with the Nov. 6 election three weeks away, the 79-year-old Muslim leader changed his mind, instead offering advice to the president and country, describing a United States still ruptured by race.
Then Farrakhan spent two hours hammering at racial – some critics will call them racist – themes.
To begin, the highly controversial Farrakhan accused Republicans of having “overt” racist motives in their opposition to Obama, the country’s first black president. He attacked a political process that he says is controlled by monied interests and wants “to keep America white.”

I suspect that all this “Fight” and “Get tough” advice may turn into that “angry black man” that he knows doesn’t work.

You do mean the “Not EVEN CLOSE to a Million Man March”, don’t you?
So Obama’s sons and daughters riot if (please!) he loses. They destroy their own neighborhoods because if they come to the suburbs or the exurbs they will be killed by armed homeowners. so biscuit inner cites are smoking ruins. Do they really believe a Romney administration will be hussling to rebuild those city neighborhoods?
This walking infection draws huge crowds of black people to hear him speak. Why is that fact never mentioned anywhere in the media, even by conservative talkers? If, say, a KKK leader was able to attract thousands of white people wherever he went, what would be the general reaction?
Yet whites are the ones who are racist.
Yeah, with a nuclear Iran just around the corner, a resurgent Russia and a collapsing dollar rebuilding purpose-built wreckage may not be something he will hussle to fix
See this is the problem with nominating “moderates”, some people forget that they’re still liberals. He’d very likely do something like his daddy did when he called in Saul Alinsky to help solve the crisis in Detroit.
I hope Obama takes Calypso Louies advice and fights like Biden. That ought to put Mitt over the top.
That’s the problem with projection; you fault people far what you imagine they’ll do or something similar their father did forty-fifty years ago.
Romney is the same liberal everyone here knew he was 6 months ago and only a moron really believes he wouldn’t rush financial aid to rebuild after a riot.
