I think you’re spot on. It may be her best political option out of a lot of bad options from her point of view. 4 years is a long time and she can spin it as her being a leader - “because that’s what leaders do”. Obama still has to explain the cover-up.
So why did he lie about the video protest? Did Hillary mislead Obama et al about conditions at Benghazi?
