95% of African American firmly held to the belief that OJ Simpson was innocent of charges that he killed his wife.

Not true. 100% knew he was guilty but should get away with it because the victims were white

Why the hell did they let OJ try on the dried out gloves?

I’ve always wondered that too. I have a pair of nice fitting winter gloves that you couldn’t force my hands in with a shoehorn. They go on easily when I try though

beyond a reasonable doubt to me would mean opportunity and motive combined with all the other evidence.....yet, a black jury ..okay one ninny chicken ship white woman....took it all and let that multiple murderer go free....

thank God he's where he belongs now...next he'll got to hell, unless of course he confesses to God above and begs forgiveness...

I don’t know if he played in a Super Bowl or not, I just remember the testimony from the pilot and photographer, which was striking to me that there wasn’t a cut on his hand.

I was just trying to point out the pilot didn’t remember that Simpson never played in a Superbowl which makes the pilot not to reliable.

I knew that. I’m not a pro football fan.

Hmmmm, good point. However, numerous witnesses were asked, and nobody saw a cut or blood on his hand, which was the core of the prosecutions case. They maintained that he cut himself during the crime and left blood evidence from the cut. They took blood samples from him and the amount was far less than what was originally taken in the vial. I just believe that the police toyed with and planted blood evidence to secure their case, their dishonesty helped a murderer walk free.

Funny, how it is that you remember where you were at certain points in time, in history. In fact, at the time the OJ verdict was announced, I happened to be standing on the second floor of a department store in Hampton, VA...the furniture/TV sale section. There were a number of folks standing about, looking at a display TV, including a number of "African Americans." When the verdict was announced, every last one of the AA's began to jump up, yelling about in exuberance, totally elated over the verdict. The rest of us, caucasian, white-Americans, looked on in total dismay, in shock over what had just transpired, knowing full well in our guts and souls that OJ was guilty as sin, yet, just exonerated for committing a most heinous crime, only because he was black. Truly, a shockingly sad day for justice in America.

Blacks knew OJ killed his wife and Goldman, they also knew Obama was a POS, but they went with race, They always do. They will again.

Sad fact, but reality.

I wouldn’t call him a “loathsome parasite”, at least by California hospitality standards.

This is because the entertainment industry can be very harsh, and the lives of celebrities can be lonesome and dreary, even living in a big house on an estate. Most of them know few people who just want to hang out, talk small talk, are not hoping to score off them, yet are grateful for any small gift sent their way. Such people are valuable.

In other words, either O.J., or his wife, or both of them liked Kaelin because he was not a greedy ass, and was somebody they could talk to. He was their “pool boy”, but also someone they could relax around.

Truthfully, he didn’t know much about the murders, but O.J. had been kind to him and he didn’t want to help in convicting him by sounding like he did know something. He also had the smarts to not try and out think a “brain” lawyer, who could twist anything he said around, so he just played a dumbass.

As far as the real villains in the case, I would look to the decedents. I suspect that what really happened was that Nichole was incredibly mean and cruel to O.J., and had brought Ron Goldman into the mix to flaunt in from of O.J. as her new lover.

O.J. himself said this in his book, that she spent years tormenting him, then making the divorce as painful as possible. Importantly, even though they were divorced it was not a clean break, and it is likely that she kept it up for two years before he snapped.

A good question is whether she persuaded Goldman to sneer at and belittle him as well. When O.J. killed them, it was with a rare rage, showing incredible built up anger. This does not happen overnight.

I must have worked in an office full of dumb asses at the time, the vast majority thought he was innocent. My protestations were fruitless.

There’s a big difference. In homicide, unless the killer is completely psychotic, naturally or chemically, it is very rare for the homicide to be extremely brutal with the violence continuing after death as corpse abuse.

But this is common with pent up rage family and lover homicides.

And thankfully, you don’t see much of that on the football field, with like one player stabbing another with a knife 70 times, mostly around the genital area.

I had been onside with Mark Fuhrman at the time. I believe his unwise comments about race certainly damned him. I only just found out when I wanted to check my own comments on #34, that Furhrman invoked the fifth amendment on secondary questioning. Pretty hard to take.

My own statement needed a correction on a driver being threatened by Simpson. It was a woman who saw Simpson's vehicle nearly hit a vehicle as he went through a red light. Simpson screamed with rage. The woman got $5000 dollars from a tabloid. Simpson claimed he was asleep in his house at that very time. She was not called to testify.

One wonders about Alan Dershowitz in this matter. Does he have a conscience? (rhetorical question). Always in the fore front with some sort of human rights attitude.

The late R.J. Wagner who is a retired engineer saw the whole 1995 murder trial & he didn’t believe OJ Simpson did it. There are Whites including smart people who believe he is innocent & RJ Wagner based his conclusion on his views as an engineer, his math & science tests, etc.

Yes, the DNA against OJ Simpson is his and don’t believe the cops tampered with proof as defense says. But it’s possible OJ Simpson’s didn’t do it even with the DNA proof and here’s other possiblities. 1st, it’s possible that Waiter Ron Lyle Goldman was the intended victim with Nicole Brown Simpson losing her life as only the killer(s) know why it happened and Ron Goldman had most of stab wounds. We have heard many times that it was a jealous ex husband who killed her with Ron Goldman being @ wrong place, but it’s possible why it happened could be different.

The coroner Dr. Lakshmanan Sathyavagiswaran first testified to prosecution’s theory that the double murder could’ve happened in matter of minutes and that 1 knife could’ve been used. He said the coroner Dr. Golden had made as many as 30 errors but that they were insignificant and didn’t change conclusion. On cross examination, Dr. Lakshmanan Sathyavagiswaran said that he couldn’t rule out multiple killers as he couldn’t rule out that multiple knives were used. There are enough doubts about the case that 1 can believe it was done by more than 1 killer.

Yes the DNA was strong but here’s how it’s possible. Late engineer Dr. RJ Wagner saw the entire 1995 murder trial believes OJ Simpson visited the crime scene around 15 to 20 minutes after it happened after being lured by the killers. There was too little blood in the Bronco and the timeline was too short in his view for OJ Simpson to have killed 2 people that quickly and wash up. Late RJ Wagner believes that it was done by the Mob who lured OJ Simpson to visit the crime scene after it happened. F. Lee Bailey wanted OJ Simpson to testify but his other lawyers advised him against this because perhaps they believed that his story of visiting the crime scene after it happened wouldn’t be believed by a jury.

Johnnie Cochran didn’t impress me with his attacks on Detective Mark J. Fuhrman calling him Nazi. It didn’t impress me because if true, Detective Mark J. Furhman wouldn’t care about victim Ronald Lyle Goldman because Ron L. Goldman’s Jewish and Detective Mark Fuhrman would not care who killed Ron L. Goldman and wouldn’t have an interest to solve the case because the victim’s Jewish. So no, don’t believe Detective Mark Fuhrman planted proof to frame a Black person.

Yes, the prosecution did prove case beyond a reasonable doubt with DNA, but it’s still possible that OJ Simpson’s innocent because of short timeline, not enough blood, possibility murder was done by more than 1 killer and if OJ Simpson visited the crime scene after it happened as the late RJ Wagner said, then it explains why his DNA was found @ the scene.

Marcia Clark, Christopher Darden, and others involved in the case both prosecution, defense and the detectives wrote books and got rich from this-When Detectives Fuhrman, late Van Atter & Lange did this that defeated idea of what public service is-when they became cops, their job was to arrest those they think committed crimes such as OJ Simpson and help prosecutors prove they’re guilty. But when they wrote books about this case and got rich, they defeated the idea of what public service is because cops and prosecutors job is to serve public and not get rich from crimes they investigate and solve-cops can’t accept rewards for catching criminals as it’s their job to do this. Marcia Clark made millions writing a book about the Simpson case and again, it defeats the idea of public service. Marcia Clark and Christopher Darden’s job was to prove that OJ Simpson committed a double murder to a jury. If there was a conviction, then punishment would’ve been done by a judge but if there’s an acquittal which there was then that should be end of it whether he was innocent or guilty.

Christopher Darden and Marcia Clark’s job on the Simpson murder trial ended with the acquittal. If they, Detective Fuhrman, etc. want to talk about the case to the media as to why the acquittal happened or why they believe he did this, then that’s 1 thing, but to write books and get rich was again wrong and against public service idea. I know I’m late to this but what is your view. Finally, Fred Goldman’s behavior for a long time has no longer been that of a mourning father but some1 who is interested in money as he too has gotten rich while Denise Brown to my knowledge isn’t profitting from her sister’s murder though I could be wrong.
