And you’re a child of the 60s?? What were you into then, Lawrence Welk?

I didn’t like them then, I don’t like them now...no ageism here.

I totally agree. Never had any use for them. They’re very instrumental in making rock-n-roll look filthy. Not sure why anyone cares about them anymore.

It's a shame that they've done nothing else notable for humanity but repeat the same trash. They’ve always bordered on being disgusting.

The Stones have toured for decades with an entourage that would fill a cruise ship.

I always like the line in the Funk Bros. movie. "With us playin' they could have had Bugs Bunny do the singin' and it would have been a hit."

The Cream reunion in 2006 was serious musicians and music.

Cream was a fantastic band. And there were only 3 of them! Too bad two of them didn't get along too well.

The Faces.

Marriott and Co were the Small Faces. Although, when Steve left and Rod & Ronnie came on board they were very briefly still called the Small faces to fulfill contract obligations.

But yes, The Faces were a *great*, rowdy rock n roll band. Ooh La La.

At those drug-addled ages, who’s gonna “start them up” ?

Huh? I was smoking doobies and listening to Cream and Savoy Brown and CCR and so on. Oh, and trying rather unsuccessfully to get laid.

Itchicoo Park--The Small Faces--a big hit at Whittier High School in Whittier, Calif. in the spring of 1968.

Saw them at the Orlando Sports Stadium in 1971 with Deep Purple as the lead in Band. The smell of burning rope was everywhere.....

IMO Keef is the best rhythm guitar player in the world.
He is also one of the best songwriters the world has ever seen.
His voice sounds like goose farts on a foggy morning but I like when he sings better than when Mick does.

Bruce And Baker Rift Wrecks Cream Reunion Plans
May 14, 2007

Another CREAM reunion has been ruled out by bassist JACK BRUCE because he can’t stand being on the same stage as bandmate GINGER BAKER.

The trio, Bruce, Baker and Eric Clapton, played shows in London and New York in 2005, but the bass player, who turns 64 today (14May07), insists hopes of a world tour and new recordings are far fetched.

He says, “I don’t think we’ll do another reunion because none of us want to do it. It doesn’t mean it won’t happen, but at the moment none of us are in love with the idea.”

Bruce admits his often-difficult relationship with Baker won’t help any future reunion plans: “It’s a knife-edge thing for me and Ginger. Nowadays, we’re happily co-existing in different continents, with Ginger in South Africa, although I was thinking of asking him to move. He’s still a bit too close.

“It’s all Ginger’s fault. He’s a terrible guy. Ask anybody, ask his ex-wife. Although, according to my wife, it’s as much my fault as it is his.”

Yeah, I really liked that song. Tin Soldier was great, too.

Never saw the Small Faces, but I did see Steve and Humble Pie in 1972. Fantastic band.

Steel Wheelchairs Tour.

Too funny. I saw the Steel Wheels tour in 1987 (or maybe 88) and I remember thinking back then that these guys couldn't have too many comeback tours in them. But dang here we are again. Instead of ruining their health, the drug of choice for this band has apparently pickled them.
