Good Morning. Everyday all across the world, American diplomats and civilians work tirelessly to advance the interest and values of our nation.
Often, they are away from their families, sometimes in great, great danger.
Yesterday, four of these extraordinary Americans were killed in an attack on our diplomatic post in Benghazi. Among those killed was our Ambassador Chris Stevens, as well as his Foreign Service Officer Sean Smith.

obama: “never mind what I said... I’m telling you NOW!”
Romney stated that Obama did not mention terrorism the next day after the 9/11/12 attacks?
Moderator "nonpartisan" Candy backed Obama and the Obama supporters cheered her! Obama did mention terror the next day after the attack.
September 12, 2012 11:57 AM President Obama On Libya Killings
[last night] we learned the news of this attack in Benghazi.
As Americans, let us never, ever forget that our freedom is only sustained because there are people who are willing to fight for it, to stand up for it, and in some cases, lay down their lives for it. Our country is only as strong as the character of our people and the service of those both civilian and military who represent us around the globe.
No acts of terror will ever shake the resolve of this great nation, alter that character, or eclipse the light of the values that we stand for. Today we mourn four more Americans who represent the very best of the United States of America. We will not waver in our commitment to see that justice is done for this terrible act. And make no mistake, justice will be done.
But we also know that the lives these Americans led stand in stark contrast to those of their attackers. . . .
terror n "Violence committed or threatened by a group to intimidate or coerce a population, as for military or political purposes"
An act of terror for the purpose of protesting "a film some called highly offensive to Muslims?"
The article was introduced by this.. where did the author get this within hours of the terror?
President Obama came out to the Rose Garden to address the killing of U.S. Ambassador to Libya Chris Stevens and three other American diplomatic staffers in a Benghazi attack that was part of violence sparked by a film some called highly offensive to Muslims. The incident also brought criticism of Obama's foreign policy by GOP rival Mitt Romney, who was forced to push back against condemnation by those who feel he's politicizing the deaths. Here is the full text of the President's remarks from this morning.
Obama did not misquote himself, he lied.
Translation it was the movie not an act of terrorism. Obama's UN speech never mentioned terrorism, just an apology for the movie that no one saw. Susan Rice went on five Sunday talk shows and reiterated that the attack was a spontaneous reaction to a video. They knew in 24 hours or less that the attack was a planned act of terrorism, but lied.
This is the one issue Obama knew would come up and knew he would have to get right, and he flat-out lied to the American people.
This will doom him.
Since when does a “moderator” provide support for the assertions of one of the debaters?
It’s clear Obama was blaming the movie, but covered his rear by using the word “terror” much later in the speech, but in a way that was oblique and did not make clear that the attack was pre-meditated, well planned, well armed, and the work of Al Qaeda.
