Obama remarks on Libya (fact checking -- one sentence implying opposite of main point)

"As Americans, let us never, ever forget that our freedom is only sustained because there are people who are willing to fight for it, to stand up for it, and in some cases, lay down their lives for it. Our country is only as strong as the character of our people and the service of those both civilian and military who represent us around the globe.

"No acts of terror will ever shake the resolve of this great nation, alter that character, or eclipse the light of the values that we stand for. Today we mourn four more Americans who represent the very best of the United States of America. We will not waver in our commitment to see that justice is done for this terrible act. And make no mistake, justice will be done.

Obama is a devious liar.

We all know that he said for 14 days that the attack was a spontaneous response to the video.

I bet that the handlers inserted this one sentence -- "No act of terror" to fall back on when the truth would come out. He knew it would come out and then he could say: Look I said it was a terror attack the day after.

But, now we know that they were covering it up for political reasons. Obama, Hillary and Rice said over and over that it was a response to the video. Complete lie. I hope people can see through the lies.

This is an example of muddying the waters, so confuse people that the issue is dropped as a news item.

It is time to let Obama go.

His anger in the debate betrays the truth.

Romney stated that Obama did not mention terrorism in his remarks the day after the attacks.

Moderator "nonparisan" Candy backed Obama and the Obama supporters cheered her! Obama did mention terror the next day after the attack.

September 12, 2012 11:57 AM President Obama On Libya Killings

The article was introduced by this.. where did the author get this within hours of the terror?

President Obama came out to the Rose Garden to address the killing of U.S. Ambassador to Libya Chris Stevens and three other American diplomatic staffers in a Benghazi attack that was part of violence sparked by a film some called highly offensive to Muslims. The incident also brought criticism of Obama's foreign policy by GOP rival Mitt Romney, who was forced to push back against condemnation by those who feel he's politicizing the deaths. Here is the full text of the President's remarks from this morning.

.

terror n "Violence committed or threatened by a group to intimidate or coerce a population, as for military or political purposes"

An act of terror for the purpose of protesting "a film some called highly offensive to Muslims?" Is that what Obama was talking about?

This totally threw Romney off his game.

He should have point blank asked Obama about what he said at the UN.

Unfortunately, the moderator lied to cover up for him. She knew the truth, and knew what Obama and his minions publicly stated repeatedly for 2 weeks, and she LIED to give him cover. I don’t think Mitt was prepared for the moderator to ‘fact check’ during the debate by lying.

And Candy Bear was quick to jump in, almost as if she expected the confusion. “He did use the word terror, governor.”

Raising two issues:
Obama’s casuistry:
ca·su·ist·ry (kzh—str)
n. pl. ca·su·ist·ries
1. Specious or excessively subtle reasoning intended to rationalize or mislead.
2. The determination of right and wrong in questions of conduct or conscience by analyzing cases that illustrate general ethical rules.

and possible corruption of the moderator.

They just can’t seem to get his mainspring wound correctly, can they. Tonight he was wound too tightly.

Which proved Crowley has a preference and was not able to remain impartial. She demonstrated she was not fit to moderate. Further, her blatant partisanship and incorrectness needs to be corrected, publicly, loudly and repeatedly.

"the moderator lied to cover up for him."

Candy Crowley is like the villain of the planet Tatooine:

"Boonowa tweepi, ha, ha.

Mr Presidnet! Hay lapa no ya, Mr President!

Governor Romney, make-cheesay. Pa'sa tah ono caulky Benghazi. Yanee dah poo noo."

“Unfortunately, the moderator lied to cover up for him. She knew the truth”

Her intervention in the dispute makes me think that she was tipped off. I bet an Obama aide got her the word: “Candy, be sure to read the president’s Rose Garden remarks the day after the Libya attack!”

That would be all that would be needed.

The one sentence inserted in the Rose Garden talk — that had as it’s main point the opposite — was a fall back for then they got caught.

As stated above, a five minute talk in the Rose Garden doesn’t compare to an address at the UN when he used the “film did it” lie.

“was not able to remain impartial. She demonstrated she was not fit to moderate.”

Yeah, she will be slapped and shamed through out the second Obama term.

Bad Candy. You were impartial!

Hee, hee. Thanks, babe!

Her performance will probably earn generous kick backs in job offers, speaking gigs, book offers, appointment to a commissions or other government benefits.

We knew Crowley was there to drag Obama across the finish line and that is exactly what she did.

She jumped in the Libya debate to save Obama’s donkey by erroneously stating he was correct.

She is just another MSM whore for Obama.

"She is just another MSM whore for Obama." Lets see. Which group should we despise the most? Politicians who lie or their media enablers? Seems like the when media "professionals" who are supposed to be societies watch dogs but fawn at the feet of pukes like Obama deserve the greater share of disgust.
