How dare obama trash anyone for their wealth!
Po’ Bubba Clinton who never created a job (or stable marriage) in his life is worth a measly $80 million
They don’t really trash wealth, just non-Democrat wealth. Democrats are populists and people are simply the tool to power. Their policies are anti-human.
A group of them are land owners so their wealth is based on speculation about what the land would be worth in today’s terms. A second group (LBJ, Clinton) are politicians who used their offices to amass a fortune. Only one or two (Hoover) made money themselves in business before coming to office.
When Obummer criticized Romney’s wealth the comeback should have run along the lines that Romney knows how to make money and since Obama isn’t as rich, he doesn’t and his record and policies these past 4 years show it. I’ve never received a job from a poor man.
Post Reading 101.
Looking at JUST THE MODERN DAY PRESIDENTS.
Teddy and Franklin Roosevelt did NOT get their money from owning land. Do your homework.
Yep. One guy makes money, the other guy loses money.
JFK never inherited his father’s fortune and his wife was an oil heiress??? I don’t believe it! Pretty strange stuff here.
Copied and pasted from link:
#10. John Fitzgerald Kennedy
Net worth: $1 billion (never inherited his fathers fortune)
In office: 1961 1963 35th president
Born into great wealth, Kennedys wife was oil heiress. His father was one of the wealthiest men in America, as well as was the first chairman of the SEC. Almost all of JFKs income and property came from a trust shared with other family members.
I’ll back off some here - her STEPFATHER was a Standard Oil heir....just strange to see her portrayed as an oil heiress.
Joe was still alive when JFK was shot. You can’t inherit from someone still alive.
Lady Bird Johnson’s business savvy had a lot to do with the Johnson’s wealth.
.
Interesting that Madison and Jefferson are on the list of richest presidents AND the list of poorest presidents.
